I am sorry for the rest for a long time. Today I went to Kinkakuji in the last sequel.
I walk for about 15 minutes to the north from the last goal “Hirano Shrine”.
It is Kinkakuji when you turn the intersection with a signboard to “Kinkakuji” to the left. It is near the mountain of the character of “大” which was introduced in the last blog.
It seems to be a World Heritage Site. I did not know. I have been 40 years ago. I bought amulet amulet and entered.
This is Kinkakuji. Not all gold but gold on the surface.About 400 years ago, it is a villa built by a Japanese authority named Ashikaga.
Many Kyoto temples and shrines are built near the mountains. The gardens are built with the mountains in the background. The gardener also seems to care for the mountain trees in the back. However, the mountain behind is not the mountain of Kinkakuji. In Kyoto, there are ordinances in which you should not build a building in vain to preserve the scenery. This garden is also protected by the ordinance.
This is where I think Kinkakuji is amazing. Beautiful from any direction.
The large garden is a long long uphill.
It is very humid and hot today during the rainy season. Many foreign tourists are coming, but it seems that you are tired. When the rainy season opens, the temperature in Kyoto will be 40 degrees. I think it is better to have a bottle of water for sightseeing.
The return is downhill.
It is a powerhouse who built such an ugly villa, but the old wives no longer trust, and they had started war in Japan aiming at the top of Japan.
It is a Sengoku period from the end of the 15th century to the end of the 16th century.
