日本の伝統衣装「着物」を作る生地ですが、最近では西陣は高品質の生地しか作っていません。

私が子供の頃は、この町では、毎日、織物を織る音が聞こえていました。
その音が心地よかったと思うのは、それが無くなった時ですね。
