Hello to everyone who is traveling in Kyoto.
京都をご旅行されている皆さんこんにちは。
I am preparing this site in two languages for travelers from abroad, hoping that people from various countries will be used.
いろんな国の方が利用されることを願って、外国からの旅行者の方のため、このサイトは2か国語で作成しています。

love the time I read your comments. I want to convey as simple as possible what I see and know. If you read it and you’ve felt it, my blog has created something.
私は、みなさんからのコメントを読んでいる時間が大好きです。私は、見たものと知っていることをできるだけシンプルに伝えようと考えています。それを読んで皆さんが感じたことがあるなら、私のblogは、何かを生み出したのでしょう。

最近の投稿について、「詳細を教えてほしい」とのリクエストがありました。私は背景を説明します。文章だけですが、ご容赦ください。
まず、日本の文化的な素地です。日本では、昔から、どの政府も天皇を倒すことはありません。侍のトップは、天皇から「将軍」という称号をもらって日本を統治します。
江戸時代（1603～1867年）は、徳川家が将軍でした。徳川家は、鎖国政策で海外との交流をしませんでした。しかし、1853年に、アメリカのペリーが来航して、日本に開国をせまりました。そして、1858年、徳川政権は、日米修好通商条約を結びました。
For a recent post, there was a request to “tell me more”. I explain the background. Only text, please forgive.
The first is the cultural base of Japan. In Japan, no government has ever defeated the emperor. The top of the samurai rules Japan by receiving the title of “General” from the Emperor.
During the Edo period (1603-1867), the Tokugawa family was a general. The Tokugawa family did not exchange with foreign countries due to the isolation policy. However, in 1853, an American Perry arrived and opened Japan. Then, in 1858, the Tokugawa administration signed the Japan-US Treaty of Amity.
日本は、江戸時代に多くの藩に分かれていて、藩が地方自治を行ってきました。その藩の中に長州と薩摩という進歩的な藩がありました。
長州は、「尊王攘夷」という思想をもっており、外国人を日本から排除し、天皇を敬う政治をしたほうがよいと考えていました。長州の若い侍たちは、京都で「尊王攘夷」活動をしていました。
薩摩は、徳川政権に秘密に、海外と貿易をしていました。なので、彼らは、当時のアジアがヨーロッパの国々の植民地になっていることを知っていました。薩摩は、イギリスの強さを知っていたため。欧州と戦うべきではないと考えました。なので、長州の思想には反対でした。しかし、当時は何か方針があったわけではありませんでした。のちに薩摩は、徳川家を倒し、強い国をつくるべきだという思想になりました。
Japan was divided into many clans during the Edo period, and the clans performed local autonomy. Among the clans were the progressive clans, Choshu and Satsuma.
Choshu had the idea of ??”Sonnou Joui,” and thought that it would be better to exclude foreigners from Japan and conduct politics that honored the Emperor. Choshu’s young samurai were engaged in the “Sonnou Joui” activity in Kyoto.
Satsuma traded with foreign countries in secret to the Tokugawa administration. So they knew that at that time Asia was a colony of European countries. Satsuma knew the strength of England. I thought we should not fight Europe. So I was against Choshu’s thoughts. However, at that time there was no policy. Later, Satsuma came to the idea that the Tokugawas should be defeated and a strong country should be created.
当時の京都では、長州の活動とそれを牽制する薩摩の活動、そして、徳川に反抗する勢力をおさえる政権の弾圧で混乱していました。
長州と薩摩は、共に政権を倒そうという思想でしたが、根本的に思想の元が違ったのです。
長州の若い侍たちは、吉田松陰とう進歩的な人から受けた「開国攘夷」という開国して国を強くし、外敵を打ち払うという思想を持っており、過激な活動家が多くいました。
過激な思想は、政権から弾圧されていました。
At that time, Kyoto was confused by Choshu’s activities, Satsuma’s activities to keep them under control, and the repression of the administration, which controlled the opposition to Tokugawa.
Choshu and Satsuma both thought of overthrowing the government, but their ideas were fundamentally different.
Choshu’s young samurai had the idea of ??strengthening their nation by opening the country, called the “open country and exclude foreigners ” received from progressives such as Shoin Yoshida, and fighting off foreign enemies, and there were many extreme activists.
Extreme thought was suppressed by the administration.
京都で彼らが活動をしていた理由は、天皇が京都におられたからです。天皇から支持されれば、日本では正義なれるからです。
当時は、長州の侍たちは強く弾圧を受け、薩摩の侍たちは、裕福な薩摩藩からの支えもあり有利な立場でした。
The reason they were working in Kyoto was because the Emperor was in Kyoto. If you are supported by the emperor, you can be justice in Japan.
At that time, the samurai of Choshu were strongly oppressed, and the samurai of Satsuma were in an advantageous position with the support of the wealthy Satsuma clan.
